En tr\u00e8s peu de temps, il d\u00e9croche un Django d\u2019Or Jeune Talent pour son premier album \u201cTwilight\u201d ainsi que le Prix Jazz \u00e0 Juan R\u00e9v\u00e9lation. Compositeur et arrangeur brillant, il cr\u00e9\u00e9 successivement un quartet (pour les albums \u00ab\u00a0Twilight\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Chess\u00a0\u00bb), un octet (\u00ab\u00a0Four and Four\u00a0\u00bb en 2007) et un quintet (\u00ab\u00a0Quartet + One\u00a0\u00bb en 2010), arrangeant sur mesure des compositions originales ou des morceaux de compositeurs qu&rsquo;il affectionne comme Jimmy Heath, Kenny Dorham, Duke Pearson&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Toujours tr\u00e8s suivi par son public et les m\u00e9dias fran\u00e7ais, Fabien re\u00e7oit cinq nominations pour le Prix Django Reinhardt \u201cMusicien fran\u00e7ais de l\u2019Ann\u00e9e\u201d par l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie du jazz entre 2008 et 2013.
